【摘要】:Thisisnotaroutinetest.Thevaluesrecordedareapplicableonlytothesewerbeingtestedandatthetimeoftesting.1.1Thispracticecoversproceduresfortestingconcretepipesewerlines,whenusingthelow-pressureairtestmethodtodemonstratetheintegrityoftheinstalledmaterialandtheconstructionprocedures.Thispracticeisusedfortesting100to600-mmcircularconcretepipesewerlinesutilizinggasketedjoints.1.2Thispracticeisalsobeusedasapreliminarytesttoenabletheinstallertodemonstratetheconditionofthelinepriortobackfill.1.3ThispracticeistheSIcompaniontoPracticeC924.Note18212;Theuserofthispracticeisadvisedthatairtestcriteriapresentedinthispracticearesimilartothoseingeneraluse.Thetestandcriteriahavebeenusedwidelyandsuccessfullyintestingsmallerdiameterpipe,butadditionaldataarerequiredtoconfirmthesafetyandapplicabilityordevelopcriteriaforpipelargerthan600mmindiameter.Largerpipewillbeacceptedmoreconvenientlybyvisualinspectionandindividualjointtesting.Note28212;Theuserofthispracticeisadvisedthatnocorrelationhasbeenfoundbetweenairlossandwaterleakage.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse(seeSection6,SafetyPrecautions).
