【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesaprocedureforthedeterminationofflashandfirepointsofpetroleumproductsusingtheClevelandopencupapparatus.Itisapplicabletopetroleumproductshavinganopencupflashpointabove79℃,exceptfueloils,whicharemostcommonlytestedbytheclosedcupproceduredescribedinISO2719[1].NOTEFlashpointandfirepointareindicationsoftheabilityofasubstancetoformaflammablemixturewithairundercontrolledconditions,andthentosupportcombustion.Theyareonlytwoofanumberofpropertiesthatmaycontributetowardstheassessmentofoverallflammabilityandcombustibilityofamaterial.
